Do you feel bombarded with information these days, especially when it comes to your health?
The constant marketing of quick fixes, different diets, supplements, detoxes, gluten-free, dairy-free, keto, paleoâŚ
it's EXHAUSTING. đ
What is the right thing to do?
If you feel OVERWHELMED, I hear you!
I encourage you to turn your focus to getting BACK TO THE BASICS and drowning out the noise, broken promises, and opinions.
đđźOnly YOU know what YOU need. Trust that your body is always working FOR you, not AGAINST you.
Learn to SLOW down, turn off social media, and tune into what your body REALLY needs. Only you can nourish it in a way that feels good for you.
Here are some FREE things you can do to get more in tune with yourself and your health:
đ§STAY HYDRATED. Drink water throughout the day. Maybe add some lemon or your favorite fruit to the water to encourage you to drink more.
đŞđźMOVE YOUR BODY in a way that feels good for you, daily. Even just a quick walk around the block will do your mental health and body wonders.
đ¤ MAKE SLEEP A PRIORITY. Establish a nighttime routine that doesnât include a screen and helps your body and mind wind down for restful sleep.
đ ADD IN WHOLE FOODS at most meals. That doesnât mean ONLY eat whole foods, that means if you want a donut, eat a donut, but think âwhat can I add to this to be a balanced meal?â Maybe add some fresh fruit on the side and full-fat yogurt so you actually feel full and satisfied after.
âď¸ GET OUTSIDE. Fresh air is magicalâŚtrust me.
đ¨BREATHE. Most of us donât realize how long we go without breathing. Take a moment to pause, take a few deep breaths, and reconnect with yourself to feel more grounded and centered.
DO SOMETHING YOU ENJOY. Call a friend or family member, do something nice for a stranger, go out for some drinks or dinner, cook, go swimming..whatever joy looks like for you, go do that, often!
